Submit a Proposal

Event: Australian AI Safety Forum 2026

Dates: 7-8 July, Sydney

Deadline: 2026-06-22

The forum’s program is full.

This form remains open for those who have been asked to resubmit an approved session, or for those who’d like to be considered for future events.

We'd love to hear your session ideas on AI safety science and governance, whether technical, policy-focused, or cross-disciplinary. Early-stage work and fresh perspectives are welcome. We're focused on research, policy, and practice (not product demos or commercial pitches). Complimentary registration and travel support may be available on request.

Your Session Idea

Select your preferred format below. We may suggest a different format if it works better with the overall program.

Share what you'd like to cover, why it matters, how it fits with the goals of the forum, and an estimated duration. Don't worry about perfection — we're excited to hear your ideas! (Around 200 words)

The Forum is grounded in the International AI Safety Report 2025 — an independent scientific assessment of general-purpose AI risks and mitigations. We ask all speakers to read the relevant section before presenting and open their session by grounding it in the Report's framework.
