Getting there
- Bus: ~3 min walk from the University of Sydney Footbridge stops on Parramatta Road. Frequent services from Central Station.
- Train: Redfern Station, ~15 min walk through campus. Central Station is ~20 min walk along George Street and Parramatta Road.
- Light rail: L1 to Wentworth Park, ~15 min walk through Victoria Park.
- By car: heading away from the city on Parramatta Road, turn left into the grounds at the Ross Street entrance, then take the first left onto Science Road.
- Drop-off (taxi, ride-share, or a lift from a friend): the Science Road entrance is best, or the Parramatta Road footbridge if Science Road is busy.
Parking
Casual parking on the Camperdown/Darlington campus costs $4/hour, capped at $24/day. Pay-as-you-go via the CellOPark app (opens in new tab) — install it before you arrive and add your number plate. There is no on-site parking at the Holme Building itself.
Closest car parks:
- Science Road Cottage — in front of the Holme Building, enter via Science Road. Often busy on weekdays.
- John Woolley Building — enter via Manning Road. Often busy on weekdays.
- New Law Building Annex (underground) — enter via City Road, turn left onto Barff Road.
- Shepherd Street Carpark (7 levels, at the SIT Building / Seymour Centre) — enter via Cleveland Street, turn right onto Shepherd Street. ~15 min walk to Holme.

Access and accessibility
The Science Road entrance is step-free. Two lifts inside the building serve all levels you'll need:
- Level 2 (catering and social areas): enter from Science Road, the lift sits past the Courtyard Restaurant & Bar, between Courtyard and the Footbridge Theatre.
- Level 4 (Cullen & Sutherland Rooms): enter from Science Road, continue past the USYD Store to the double doors to the lift lobby. Staff at the registration desk can walk you there on request.
- Accessible toilet (with baby change table) off the Holme courtyard.
- All-gender bathrooms on Levels 1 and 3.
- USyd's Multifaith Chaplaincy Centre (opens in new tab) is a ~5 min walk away in the Storie Dixson Wing (H10), Mon–Fri 9–5.
