The Hon. Dr Andrew Charlton MP is the Cabinet Secretary, Assistant Minister for Science, Technology and the Digital Economy and the Federal Member for Parramatta. As Assistant Minister, Andrew works closely with his colleagues to ensure Australians can receive their fair share of the benefits of new technologies, like AI. He studied at the University of Sydney and Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar and graduated with a PhD in economics. He has since written two books on the economy and co-authored ‘Fair Trade for All’ with the Nobel Prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz.
