Kate Chaney MP is the independent Federal Member for Curtin. She has been engaging widely with her community, civil society and industry to develop and advocate for effective AI policy. She has previously published policy proposals for the Australian AISI and a framework for automated decision-making in government. She is now publishing a discussion paper calling for urgent government action on AI, and putting forward 18 policy recommendations.
