Dr. Sharif Abuadbba leads the Distributed Systems Security team at CSIRO’s Data61 and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at UNSW. His research focuses on AI-driven emerging cyber threats, while enabling the safe adoption of AI. He has led major collaborations with government and industry, developed award-winning cybersecurity solutions, contributes to AI safety standards with NIST and Standards Australia, and serves as AEor IEEE TIFS
